Sebastian Walukiewicz, 18, who currently plays in his homeland for Pogon Szczecin, is said to be viewed as a long-term option at centre-back for Arsenal
Football.London claims that Walukiewicz has been watched up close by Arsenal scouts this season, having only made his breakthrough into the first team towards the end of the last campaign.
A number of other clubs have been tipped to make a move for the former Legia Warsaw defender, however, including Spanish champions Barcelona and arch-rivals Espanyol.
Walukiewicz made his breakthrough into the Szczecin first-team towards the end of last season and has featured in 13 of their 15 league games during the current campaign, with 12 of those appearances coming as starts.
The teenager is a regular with Poland’s international youth teams and is already being tipped to make a breakthrough into the senior squad in the near future.
