Angelina song including “Joromi” as well as Gone for good are no doubt an awesome track from a talented lady who is popularly identified by her stage name, Simi.
Simi is no doubt an awesome singer and music writer, this lady has been seen as usual hanging around and featuring mostly Adekunle Gold and as well Falz, the bhad guy.
Simi and Adekunle Gold seem to be dating according to what fans have been seeing, particularly Nigerians. These two has been seen collaborating each other for more than 3 years now and they’ve been doing fine independently.
Actually, this article wasn’t written to tell you the business or what’s happening between Adekunle and Simi but rather why Simi should be recognized as the best Nigerian female artiste.
My reasons may be different from yours but all is well as we all have different opinions on this topic and you would love to stand by your opinion right? Good! I’ve enabled the comment box for this editorial so you can also state your opinion(s) and correct anything I might have quoted wrong.
Why SIMI Should Be Regarded a Rare Gem In Nigeria Music Industry
1. Unique Voice
Simi is a fast up-coming artiste, what!!! Did I just say upcoming? Simi is no doubt a singer with the sweetest voice in Nigeria. We all know that Simi’s voice alone can be identified even when hundreds are singing. Her unique voice and style of music haven’t changed over the years and she’s been doing good producing hit songs upon another. Her latest single Joromi is no doubt a wonderful soundtrack, you need to listen to it! She recently collaborated with Naira Marley featuring Falz, Olamide, Lil Kesh and Slim case respectively in a song titled “Issa Goal – Remix”.
2. Well composed lyrics
You won’t want to argue with me that Simi doesn’t write well-composed lyrics for her song. She must be a good essayist when at secondary school; winks*
From all of Simi single’s one could clearly hear and understand the flow of Simi’s song as the lyrics are easy to sing along with and memorize. She doesn’t sing song like some other musicians just like what her boyfriend Gold said “Ariwo Ko Ni Music”!
Her song words are reasonable and as well as passes a message to the general public. It is one way or the other teaches ladies especially the way they ought to live their life and gain freedom.
Actually, I know you might don’t want to agree since you’ve seen Simi dressing the bad way in her music videos or concerts. However, one should not criticize her as she only does that because it’s what other artiste are doing. She’s indeed very formal and has been seen on several occasions dressing cooperatively to music events.
From the points listed above, I should be rest assured that you’ll from now regard Simi as a wonderful singer and a rare Gem in the Nigerian music Industry.
